Message from the Editor

IMSLnews is the first electronic newsletter of the Institute of Management of Sri Lanka (IMSL) which was first envisioned during the 30th Annual General Meeting of the IMSL in Colombo on 28 May, 2008.

Key objectives that drove this initiative are two-fold. On one hand, to create a common forum to share, develop knowledge and best practices in management. And on the other hand, as a regular news alert, which would add momentum to the institute’s activities, while nourishing linkages and networking among the IMSL individual and corporate members. 

IMSLnews will keep you updated with all the happening at the IMSL, and is devoted to enrich you with the knowledge on management issues of contemporary and timely interest. 

We welcome comments, suggestions, and criticism which would help us further improve the newsletter for better usage by the members.
